Anthea Isaac as Mrs. Hardcastle in "She stoops to conquer "

Anthea Isaac as Mrs. Hardcastle
in "She stoops to conquer "

The play starts with Mrs. Hardcastle (myself) blaming her husband for not taking her to trips and feeling down that they are living in an mansion that looks like an inn for the world.

Here I start as Mrs. Hardcastle.

Mrs. Hardcastle loves her son Tony without measure. She always wants Tony to have a good future.

Mrs. Hardcastle always pretended to be the most fashionable and projects herself as the nobels.

Mrs. Hardcastle was always fooled by her niece Constance and son Tony that they are in love and wanted to marry each other.
But not any more when she receives a letter of Tony from Hastings.

Though Ms. Constance and Mr. Hastings went out of reach. She's happy that the jewels of Con stays at home.

Their return makes her unhappy and everything that happens is not what she wanted.

There is nothing to be done so she gets along with others.

The End

Two Weeks as a Doakian.

Two weeks as a Doakian.

It's been a long time and I am happy to say that I am officially a Former Josephite and a Doakian Now.

It's really great to say that I have been honored as a Doakian by the LDC family. The first day I stepped inside still baffles me. I was overwhelmed with joy by the warm welcome of my institution. And totally mesmerized by the orientation. The best part was  a eloquent speech by our Principal Dr. Mrs. A. Mercy Pushpalatha that was fascinating .

Within Two weeks I not only found that I was one of the Luckiest
but one of the blessed one too. As buds of life, me and my friends are really grateful and thankful to be a part of LDC's garden. That we don't just stop by blooming but will bear the fruits of richness.

Facilities:

To start a blessed day we have a chapel service everyday. We have a well constructed GJ and JX auditoriums to stage the shows. Best hostels for students with wonderful hospitality. Not one but we have three cantines  which provides us with finger licking snacks to mouth watering meals. Well maintained playgrounds for our talented players. A splendid and a standard Library for our brainy people. We do have our heuristic education. And most of all our loving, caring and kind-hearted Faculties. All together  makes our wonderful campus.

Now I am satisfied and looking forward for my days as a Doakian with immense pleasure and will be continued...
I am sure that every Doakian in our campus are with a desire which will make you admire...

Cotton Candy… Healthy!

Cotton Candy… Healthy!

It’s been a long time so I thought of writing something fun. Here in Madurai it is the season of porulcatchi (Exhibition). I don’t know about you but I always love eating food in exhibitions. And mostly we get the idea of one particular thing when it comes to food.
And that is “Cotton Candy”. Most of the people think that cotton candy is nothing but sugar on a stick. Just because it’s made of sugar and water. And some people avoid them saying it’s just like eating sugar directly from a bowl. So, for the people out there I say “ Cotton candy is not unhealthy but to say it’s healthy is also a bit complicated “.
After analyzing some articles I found that cotton candy is healthy. We all know that cotton candy consist of sugar but do you know that sugar makes people persevere longer and keeps them focused.  According to researchers at Cornell University, cotton candy helps create new blood vessels. It also helps us rebuild our tissues. Also note that cotton candy contains far less sugar than one can of a regular soft drink. And the best among other carnival foods. And above all People who eat candy lives longer.
Check out the table below to get an idea

Estimated Nutritional Values

So next time you visit an exhibition don’t forget to have some Cotton candy. And if you are the one who hate them then let’s stick on with Candies alone.

My Girl...

My Girl Chokki...

I am sure that you are shocked about the above tittle. Haha... Actually Chokki is a pet dog of mine. She was brought home on 3rd January 2012 then she was 40 days old.
After our late Rusty we spent more than 2 years without a dog. After a long time we decided to buy one. When we went to the pet shop, I saw two cute little puppies. A brown one and a black one.
You might think that I took Chokki home with satisfaction but there is a twist I loved the black one which was 35 days old. Somehow my dad found the brown one was active and attractive. According to our calculation Chokki's birthday must be on 24 November 2011. Now she is 4 years old and still looks like a puppy to me.

I was the one who named her and I do feel it as a pride. I do have flashbacks and things of Chokki that I would like to share with you.

Chokki always love moving around people. She also feels jealous when I am attracted to other dogs. She gets ferocious at this point. She trusts everyone and welcomes them with a shake hand. My mom hates it when she does that. But I take it as a resemblance of myself. She loves to cuddle with me all the time, trying to sit on my lap but can't because of her size. Sometimes watching her stare at me makes me think of her abundance love towards me. I am sure that she will always love me. According to others I have a sister but if you ask me I have two sisters. She is also a friend, a baby, a companion and a girl of mine. Most of all she is a member of our family.
